I have seen Trivium once live and it was awesome. Even though not even close to a band I listen to regularly, I like them very much. They sound very nice, even though they don’t do anything unique.

I listen to them a lot. They were on at the same time as Aerosmith when I went to download so I haven’t got to see them yet. Aerosmith>most things. If they tour the UK for this album I'll go see them for sure though.

I was just listening to their first CD a few days ago, still awesome.

But this, it sounds like the singer had a cold when this was recorded. Or he had a clothespin on his nose for some reason.

I saw them in 2012, when they got the unique luck to shine, as a headliner of a fest here in Bulgaria after Godsmack cancalled their Euro tour, because Erna got sick. As I said it was awesome and made it worthwile, when on the second day GnR were totally lame, fuck Axl Rose!

You’re not the first person I’ve heard say GnR sucked live. I’d rather see Slash and Miles Kennedy these days, I saw Miles’ other band Alter Bridge and they were excellent.

I think the dynamics are missing in their new stuff. It’s as if he picked a theme, then stuck with it for 10 songs or whatever. No highs and lows, just the same monotonous tone.

I get what you’re saying, some songs on Vengeance Falls were a tad dry, but I still enjoyed it.
